By laying face up on the pillow, the weight of your head acts as a traction system, helping to alleviate tension headaches and neck pain by gently stretching the upper chest and anterior neck muscles. To use the Soothe-A-Ciser at home, all you do is lay on it face up with your neck supported by the highest curve.Use 20-30 minutes a day or as recommended by your healthcare professional. This cushion is not designed for sleeping. Many massage therapists think it works great for their professional use as well. In the clinic, the patented contoured design provides a comfortable lying position while elevating the face, shoulders and neck, giving a therapist better access than if you lay flat on your back, while also helping return the neck to its natural curve. The Soothe-A-Ciser can also be used as a support cushion for the Cervical Traction System if more weight is needed. Consult your healthcare professional before using.Made of high-quality, precision-cut foam and available with a vinyl or cotton blend cover. The vinyl cover comes in black, blue and gray. The cotton blend cover option is available in black, blue, gray, and burgundy and provides comfort and durability. 21"x11"x7. | | | Features: | |

OuchMay 28, 2010
By Becky A. Troup My fiance and I both tried this pillow out and neither of us liked it. We both have some tightness in our necks, and I'm even going to the chiropractor for mine. When I laid on the pillow, it took me a while to find a comfortable position, but to get the back area supported correctly, my neck had to hyperextend. It was so uncomfortable that I couldn't stand it. It gave me a headache. My fiance didn't like it because it made the blood rush to his head. Stretching the neck is one thing, but having it lay completely cranked backward isn't exactly a nice feeling.

By J. S. Hans The Soothe-A-Ciser Pillow is a great design that does work but the pillow compresses after a short time with my body weight.
A Must Have in Our HomeMar 18, 2012
By Auggieli Found the daily use of this pillow to be the most effective way to relieve my personal neck pain and have recommended it to family and friends. Purchased another one as a back up.
Soothe-a-Ciser Neck Traction PillowFeb 05, 2012
By Angelic Oliverez-Bellville This is a great product! I bought this item 2-1-2012, and have already felt so much better. I have no curve to my neck and I wake up every morning with neck pain. The first thing I do is lay on the Soothe-a-Cisor for a couple of minutes and my neck feels so much better. I know its working because I feel and hear the vertebrae shift into place. That is a little disconcerting but at least I feel better. I use it after I get home from work and after doing housework. Maybe it works better for me than the other reviewers because I am 5' tall and have a short neck. I hope it lasts at least 6 months as it is made of foam.
