I had to buy it to answer my own QUESTION!Jan 29, 2012
By H. Lee I bought a used lens that appeared to have haze on the rear element. I used a lenspen and couldn't clean it. Then I saw this on sale and was much less expensive than the purosol optics version. I didn't know if you can use this on multicoated optics without damaging it since it does say for plasma/lcd/led tvs. Anyways, it worked great and cleaned the haze right off. It comes with a travelsize purosol microfiber cloth and another bigger microfiber cloth. You just spray the cloth and wipe your lens in a circular direction as per instructions. The label says "non toxic green formula designed for coated glass". Also someone posted a message and the purosol rep told him it was safe for optics. I use this now to clean my zeiss lenses without worrying about damaging the Tcoating. No streaks and super clean without having to wipe the lens a million times and cleaning one spot while getting another spot dirty. The purosol microfiber cloth don't leave or at least leave less little dust pieces than other microfiber clothes but you can use Kimwipes instead or in combination with a Giotto blower. So I give it 5 stars because first of all it is a NASA product but second of all it cleaned my lens without leaving streaks in one quick session and I have peace of mind the non toxic formula (made by NASA) is not harming the coating on my zeiss lenses (though I can't test it, it is made by NASA afterall!!).
