Super Absorbent because this specially designed synthetic chamois absorbs 15 times its weight in water. Thick, synthetic Chamois Towels absorb more water than traditional terry cloth towels. Dramatically cuts drying time by "drinking up" water from wet coats after bathing.. Machine washable to use over and over again. Each towel is 20" X 27". Wash it firstJun 29, 2006
By K. Adkins The towel was stiff and difficult to work with. After washing and drying it, it softened up. You're not going to get much flexibility out of this towel until you wash it.

Gave this as a gift to people that own a standard poodle. They are thrilled with the towel and use it regularly

These are great for drying pets but also for soaking up your kids' spilled drinks! They last awhile but then start to pull apart. With this low price, that's OK, though.
